Encinitas Caregiver Needed Mon-Fri 8a-4p

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 A.M -5:00 P.M

Pay: $ 22.75

San Diego Home Caregivers is seeking an experienced and dedicated caregiver to provide essential support and care to our client in her Encinitas home. This role involves assisting with meal prep, light house cleaning, standby assistance with showering, and helping with occasional bladder incontinence accidents. Our client is ambulatory, a vegan, lives alone, and has two cats.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience (minimum six months of experience).
• Registration with the Home Care Services Bureau is required. We can send you information on how to register. After completing the registration and having a cleared status, and if hired, we can reimburse you for application fees.
• A current Tuberculosis test is required.
• You must also have a current California driver's license, car insurance, a clean driving record, and a reliable means of transportation. Our clients will need assistance with appointments and running errands.

Duties

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist clients with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals.
• Perform patient observation to monitor health conditions and report any changes.
• Support clients with mobility assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
• Uphold resident rights by treating clients with dignity and respect.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their well-being.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks as needed to maintain a safe living environment.
• Provide direct support in medication management as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist with driving, running errands, and appointments.

Pay: $22.75 per hour
