Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Endocrinologist, a specialized physician dedicated to diagnosing and managing hormonal disorders that affect various bodily functions. In this vital role, you will provide expert care for patients with conditions such as diabetes, thyroid diseases, metabolic disorders, osteoporosis, and adrenal issues. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through comprehensive evaluation, innovative treatment plans, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. We are seeking a motivated professional passionate about advancing endocrine health and committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and physical examinations to diagnose endocrine disorders accurately.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing the latest evidence-based practices, including medication management, lifestyle counseling, and procedural interventions.
  • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic and other EMR platforms to document patient encounters meticulously and ensure seamless continuity of care.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests including medical imaging (e.g., ultrasound, CT scans) and laboratory results to support clinical decision-making.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiologists, surgeons, ophthalmologists, cardiologists, nephrologists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education on disease management, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and health coaching tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient services across hospital settings including Level I trauma centers or critical care units when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of patient confidentiality throughout all interactions.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of endocrinology principles combined with proficiency in medical terminology and physiology related to hormonal regulation.
  • Experience with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for efficient documentation and patient management.
  • Skilled in interpreting medical imaging modalities like ultrasound, CT scans, MRI relevant to endocrine conditions.
  • Familiarity with procedures including catheterization techniques, ultrasound-guided injections, or minimally invasive interventions pertinent to endocrine disorders.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacology related to hormone therapies, diabetes management (including insulin administration), and other endocrine treatments.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive physical examinations with attention to detail for accurate diagnosis.
  • Excellent patient service skills coupled with compassionate communication tailored for diverse populations across inpatient or outpatient settings.

The candidate must be an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication and a proven ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans.

Must also be Board Certification/Board Eligible
