Endodontist

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Endodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in performing root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures. You will be responsible for diagnosing dental issues, providing treatment plans, and ensuring the highest level of patient care in a comfortable environment. Your expertise in dental terminology and medical documentation will be essential in maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform root canal therapy and other endodontic treatments with precision and care.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose dental conditions effectively.
• Collaborate with general dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
• Utilize medical imaging technology to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning, microscope and CT scan in office.
• Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and follow-up care in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Provide education to patients regarding oral health, treatment options, and post-operative care.
• Stay updated on advancements in endodontics, infection control practices, and dental technologies.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Endodontics residency program.
• Proficiency with Open Dental is preferred.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery is a plus.
• Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques and dental clinic operations is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, medical terminology, and infection control protocols.
• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $182,988.97 - $220,373.81 per year
