Endoscopy Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Endoscopy Technician to assist doctors and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures. The candidate will be responsible for preparing procedure rooms, handling and disinfecting endoscopy equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist gastroenterologists and medical staff during endoscopic procedures
• Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment and procedure rooms
• Perform proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopes as per protocols
• Monitor and document equipment usage and maintenance records
• Assist in patient preparation and post-procedure care
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety guidelines
• Maintain inventory of endoscopy instruments and consumables
• Follow hospital policies and standard operating procedures

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma / Certificate in Endoscopy Technology or related allied health course
• 0 to 1 year of experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of endoscopy equipment and infection control practices
• Ability to work in shifts and assist during emergency procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
