Endpoint / Device Management Lead & Help Desk Integration

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Endpoint / Device Management Lead & Help Desk Integration specialist to drive excellence in managing endpoint devices and integrating help desk operations within our IT infrastructure. This pivotal role combines leadership in device lifecycle management, technical support, and service delivery, ensuring seamless user experiences across diverse platforms. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in IT service management, network security, and systems engineering to optimize device performance, enhance security protocols, and streamline help desk workflows. This individual will lead the enterprise device management function for 30,000+ student and staff devices across Windows, iOS, macOS, and ChromeOS platforms, as well as design imaging and deployment workflows, manages MDM platforms (Intune, Google Workspace, Apple School Manager), and integrates endpoint operations with the BPS help desk. Must be within daily driving distance of Buffalo.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain device imaging workflows using MDT and modern deployment methods
• Manage MDM platforms: Microsoft Intune, Google Workspace (ChromeOS), Apple School Manager/Jamf
• Create and maintain device deployment packages, profiles, and app blocking policies
• Oversee large-scale device deployments (seasonal refreshes, new building rollouts)
• Develop automation for device provisioning, compliance checking, and reporting
• Coordinate with BPS help desk on endpoint escalation procedures and tier-2 support
• Manage shared device profiles for classroom and lab environments
• Plan and execute OS upgrades and feature updates across the device fleet
• Support Promethean smartboard deployment and troubleshooting
• Maintain device inventory and lifecycle tracking

Qualifications

• 8+ years in endpoint management; 3+ years managing 10,000+ device environments
• Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager certification or equivalent experience required
• Experience with Google Workspace/ChromeOS management at scale
• Apple School Manager and/or Jamf experience required
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) for automation and deployment
• Experience with MDT, SCCM/MECM, or modern Windows deployment methods (Autopilot)
• Familiarity with imaging processes for multi-platform environments
• Understanding of K–12 device deployment challenges (shared devices, parental controls, content filtering)
• Must be within daily driving distance of Buffalo, NY

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
