Role Purpose
The Energy Management Specialist is responsible for
monitoring, controlling, and optimizing energy consumption
across facilities to ensure
efficient, reliable, and cost-effective operations
.
The role focuses on
energy performance analysis, efficiency improvement, and consumption governance
within a large-scale, continuously operating environment.
Key Responsibilities
Energy Performance Monitoring

Establish energy baselines and performance indicators for major systems and facilities.

Monitor energy consumption trends and identify abnormal patterns.

Track performance of energy-intensive systems such as HVAC, electrical networks, and pumping systems.
Analysis & Optimization

Analyze energy usage data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for reduction.

Recommend practical energy optimization measures without compromising service reliability.

Support implementation of energy efficiency initiatives and operational improvements.
Reporting & Governance

Prepare periodic energy performance reports for management.

Support energy benchmarking and comparison across zones or systems.

Ensure energy data accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms.
Coordination & Support

Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and asset management teams.

Support investigations related to energy spikes or abnormal consumption.

Provide technical input for energy-related operational decisions.
Continuous Improvement

Support integration of energy considerations into maintenance and operational planning.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in
Electrical, Mechanical Engineering
, or a related discipline.

15–20 years
of experience in energy management, facilities operations, or system performance analysis.

Strong understanding of energy systems, metering, and performance indicators.

Experience in
large, continuously operating facilities
is highly desirable.
