Job Purpose:
To optimize energy performance across client facilities by analyzing energy consumption, identifying efficiency opportunities, implementing energy-saving measures, and ensuring compliance with sustainability and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct energy audits, assessments, and performance evaluations for facilities.
- Analyze energy data, prepare consumption reports, and recommend energy-saving solutions.
- Develop and implement energy conservation projects and initiatives.
- Monitor and track building systems (HVAC, lighting, water, etc.) to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal operation of energy systems.
- Identify renewable energy opportunities and support sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local energy regulations and green building standards (e.g., LEED, ESTIDAMA).
- Support preparation of technical documentation, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers on energy-related issues.
- Provide training and awareness programs for facility teams on energy efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in energy management or facility management sector.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation systems (BAS), and energy monitoring tools.
- Experience in conducting energy audits and implementing energy-saving projects.
- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and certifications (LEED, ISO 50001, etc.).
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in MS Office and energy modeling software.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
