What you’ll do

• Deliver exceptional patient care through thorough assessments, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform critical procedures such as IV infusion, suturing, and catheterization with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and health management.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in triage processes, prioritizing patient needs effectively in emergency situations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with best practices in nursing and healthcare.

Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Proficiency in Epic and Cerner EMR systems for efficient patient documentation.
• Experience with botulinum toxin treatment, esthetic laser treatment, and dermal fillers is highly desirable.
• Strong background in critical care, including ICU experience and familiarity with acute pain management protocols.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and NCQA standards for quality care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating strong independent decision-making skills.
• Experience providing care in diverse settings such as long-term care facilities, hospitals, outpatient clinics, or home health environments.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring memory care is a plus.
