Engagement Specialist II

Summary: Under direct supervision, works with staff to support the Library's strategic goals and initiatives by assisting customers and providing relevant and timely programs and services, both inside and outside the library.

This position will be assigned to the Northwest Library, which is located at 5600 NW 122nd Street in Oklahoma City, OK.

The hiring salary for this position is $21.79 hourly. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science from an accredited college or university; and
• One year of customer service experience.

HIGHLY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Enthusiasm for public service and the ability to work well with a diverse audience.
• Experience building sustainable community relationships.
• High level of comfort with program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
