Turkish Technic, %100 subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, is one of the world’s leading aviation services providers, where comprehensive maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification, and reconfiguration services are performed with a highly skilled workforce of over 11.500 professionals within Istanbul Ataturk Airport, Sabiha Gokcen Airport and Istanbul Airport facilities on two separate continents. Aside from its engineering and maintenance activities, Turkish Technic supports aircraft operators and owners globally with encompassing component pooling, design, certification, and production services.

As part of the strategic collaboration between Rolls-Royce and Turkish Technic, an independent engine MRO centre is being established at Istanbul Airport. Within the scope of this project, Turkish Technic is expanding its engineering team to support the establishment and operation of this advanced maintenance facility.

We are seeking Repair Development Engineers, Shop Engineers, Power Plant Shop Engineers, Quality Engineers and Production & Planning Engineers who will take active roles in developing and executing engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes for Rolls-Royce Trent engines.

About the Role

• Provide technical engineering support throughout the engine overhaul process, including disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly, and testing.
• Develop, implement, and optimize repair processes, tooling, and work instructions for engine components.
• Support quality, regulatory, and compliance activities in accordance with EASA/FAA Part 145, ISO, and Nadcap standards.
• Coordinate production planning, scheduling, and resource management to meet turnaround time (TAT/TRT) targets.
• Conduct and support audits, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency.
• Participate in capability development projects and contribute to process industrialization of new engine models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, or other relevant technical disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Engine MRO industry is must.
• Strong understanding of high-bypass gas turbine/turbofan engines.
• Experience with Rolls-Royce Trent XWB and/or Trent 7000 is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations FAA & EASA Part 145, Safety & Quality Management Systems, and aviation maintenance standards.
• Experience in First Article Inspection (FAI), NADCAP approval preparation, and audit processes is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and technical reporting skills.
• Proficiency in English (minimum C1 level).
