Job Summary:
The Engineer is responsible for the daily inspection of his quota of mosques, ensuring facilities are maintained to high standards across Hard Services, Soft Services, and Project Supervision. This role involves engaging with end users (worshipers and imams), addressing their concerns, and acting as the technical lead for solutions in coordination with subcontractors. The Engineer works closely with the Assistant Manager and Supervisors to ensure operational excellence.

Daily Inspections:
Conduct daily inspections of the given quota of mosques to assess Hard Services (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems) and Soft Services (e.g., cleanliness, landscaping), ensuring operational and safety standards are met. Ideally using the prayer times to travel across the portfolio. Rotational schedule with Assistant Manager and Supervisors.

Project Supervision:
Monitor and support facility-related projects, such as mosque renovations or system upgrades, ensuring technical specifications are followed and issues are resolved promptly.

End-User Engagement:
Interact with worshipers, imams, and mosque management to gather feedback on facility conditions (Hard and Soft Services) and address concerns to ensure user satisfaction.

Technical Leadership:
Act as the technical support for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Hard Services, coordinating with subcontractors for timely and effective solutions.

Quality Assurance
: Inspect the quality of Hard Services and Soft Services across the portfolio of mosques, ensuring high standards are maintained.

Continuous Improvement
: Identify opportunities to enhance Hard Services, Soft Services, and project delivery, proposing actionable recommendations to subcontractors and the management team.

Maintenance Coordination:
Work with subcontractors to schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for Hard Services and monitor Soft Services delivery in accordance to contracts and industry standards.

Reporting:
Document inspection findings, project progress, and user feedback, providing detailed reports to the Assistant Manager on Hard Services, Soft Services, and projects.

Compliance:
Ensure all maintenance and project activities comply with safety regulations, Islamic cultural requirements, and contractual standards.

Emergency Response:
Availability in case of emergency to provide with technical support, particularly around prayer times, to address urgent issues in Hard or Soft Services.
Required Criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management or maintenance engineering, with exposure to Hard Services and Soft Services.

Experience in supervising or supporting facility-related projects.

Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with end users and stakeholders.

Ability to manage time effectively to cover daily inspections of the quota of mosques.

Valid Driving License

Fluency in English and Arabic.
