Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The HVAC engineers will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Load calculation for residential and commercial projects,(Manuel J and the calculation.
• Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and diagnose problems effectively.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components of HVAC systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their HVAC needs and solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed on each unit and report any additional issues that may require attention.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.

Skills

• Proficiency in HVAC/R principles and practices.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of appliance repair techniques related to HVAC equipment.
• Ability to perform property maintenance tasks as needed.
• Familiarity with various tools used in the trade including multimeters and ohmmeters.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $86,571.00 per year

Work Location: In person
