Engineer - Cyber Engineering

Overview

Requirement for implementation engineer resource specifically skilled in the detailed design, implement and turnover to production of Network and Security solutions.

Responsibilities

Cyber Solutions & Delivery

• Experience of network & security device installations to best practice standards.
• Manage implementation tasks, with attention to detail and while under pressure
• Technical implementation for complex technical projects involving participants from multiple areas of the company or vendors
• Demonstrable experience of involvement within medium to large-scale implementation projects.
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills; capable of writing technical documentation, acting as a vendor liaison, work closely with Lead Engineers and peers.
• Maintains and evangelizes strong values of integrity, commitment, and self-improvement to self and others
  
  

Technical Requirements

Candidates Must Be Able To Demonstrate In-depth Knowledge Of Installation And Configuration In Two Or More Of The Following Core Technologies

• Network Technologies (switching and routing deployments)
• Security Technologies such as: NextGen Firewalls, Proxy/Content filtering, Load balancing, Multifactor authentication, Network Admission Control (NAC), Secure Email gateways, Network TAP

Certification Requirement (Technical & Non-Technical)

• CCNP or Palo Alto PCNSE or any other professional level certification(s)
  
  

Minimum Work Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical capability, preferably working for an IT Services or Systems Integration organisation

Education

Degree level qualification in Computer Science or related field
