Experience the full spectrum of engineering work, where you’ll split your time between working at Boswell Energy Center’s coal-fired power plant and support new solar project construction.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide technical support for project planning, development, implementation and modification for power generation assets existing and being built, including coal and solar.
  • Monitor and analyze performance data, including work orders, to ensure optional reliability of power plant assets and optimal solar system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal employees and contractors to coordinate maintenance and repair activities, including identification of capital projects to improve reliability of assets.
  • Assist with development and implementation of operational procedures and best practices.
  • Generate reports on system performance, downtime, and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system assets, including configurations, maintenance logs, and compliance records.
  • Support commissioning and testing of new assets and systems.
  • Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program required.
    • Mechanical or Electrical degree preferred
    • Utility experience preferred
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license as some travel and overnight stays may be required.
  • This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $65,000-$82,000. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
