Engineer - Piling and Shoring industry

Full job description

• Assess Structural Needs: Evaluate the stability of existing structures and determine the need for shoring.
• Develop Shoring Plans: Create detailed plans and designs for shoring systems to support buildings and structures during construction, renovation, or repair.
• Structural Analysis: Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and the ability to analyze the stability and load-bearing capacity of structures.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in calculations and design to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate technical information to a variety of stakeholders, including non-engineers.
• Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying potential issues and developing effective solutions.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards related to shoring and construction.
