Engineer – Plumbing & Drainage

We are seeking a qualified Engineer – Plumbing & Drainage to join our team in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for the design, review, and supervision of plumbing and drainage systems across commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, site experience, and familiarity with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review plumbing and drainage systems including potable water supply, wastewater, and associated piping networks.
• Prepare technical drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material submittals.
• Supervise site installation and ensure compliance with approved drawings, codes, and quality requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, and as-built documentation.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and ensure correct equipment selection.
• Identify and resolve design and construction issues promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in plumbing and drainage engineering (GCC experience preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant hydraulic design software.
• UPDA/MMUP certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication, project coordination, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
