Engineer (QA/QC)

Job Title: Technical Executive / Assistant Manager

Department: Quality (Traded Goods)

Experience Required: 2 to 5 years

Location: Manufacturing Unit, Daheli, Gujarat, India.

Reporting To: Quality Head

Travel: Occasional (PAN INDIA supplier visits)

Role Overview

The role is based at the manufacturing plant and supports the Quality and Product teams through daily testing, data reporting and supplier quality verification. The candidate will work closely with internal departments and suppliers to ensure compliance with testing standards and raw-material requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Carry out daily product testing as per internal, ISO and ASTM standards

· Prepare and circulate daily traded goods and material test reports

· Maintain and update documentation related to inspections, test results and supplier quality status

· Review and interpret testing standards and specifications to expand domain knowledge

· Participate in supplier visits for quality verification, audits and troubleshooting when needed

· Coordinate with Procurement, Dispatch and Production to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner

· Support Product Manager with application-related trials and data collection

· Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures inside the plant and lab

Ideal Candidate Profile

Someone who is detail-oriented, disciplined with documentation and comfortable working in a plant and lab environment. The right person will enjoy technical standards, testing and analytical work rather than field installations or sales support.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in any of the following domains will be suitable:

· Geosynthetics, technical textiles, geogrids, geocomposites

· Industrial fabrics, polymer products, fibres and yarns

· Construction chemicals testing or industrial product QC

· Materials testing lab environments

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Textile / Polymer / Civil / Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering (Diploma holders with strong QC and testing experience may also apply.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
