Job Description

We are hiring an Engineer / Technician – Materials Science / Corrosion for one of our reputed automotive clients. The candidate will be responsible for corrosion protection concepts, material selection, and testing activities at vehicle and component levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Define corrosion protection requirements at vehicle and component level
• Design structural corrosion protection in Body-in-White (BIW)
• Support material, coating, and surface treatment selection
• Coordinate with plant planning teams for joining, paintability, and sealability
• Prepare technical documentation (NAD plans, HRK plans)
• Plan, schedule, and execute development & approval tests
• Analyze test results and prepare technical reports

Required Qualifications

• Degree or Technician qualification in:
• Mechanical Engineering
• Automotive Engineering
• Surface Technology
• Chemistry / Materials Science
• Experience in test planning, execution, and documentation
• Knowledge of automotive painting, coating, or BIW preferred
• Strong team player with a structured working approach
• Good communication skills in English
