Job Summary
Support the Director of Engineering in the planning, execution, and management of engineering and structural systems maintenance operations tailored to our progressive marine fish hatchery infrastructure. This critical function balances high-level commercial acumen, strong staff guidance capability, and core systems troubleshooting mastery to preserve system efficiency and hit performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in controlling and streamlining daily engineering routines and active machinery maintenance schedules
  • Support the physical installation, baseline updates, and diagnostic assessments of high-performing RAS loops and supporting technical infrastructure
  • Consistently monitor performance parameters, water quality systems, and general machine efficiency levels to safeguard hatchery production metrics
  • Supervise field engineering crews, taking responsibility for clear task breakdown structures and prompt job completion records
  • Interface cross-functionally across technical hatchery teams, central purchasing agents, and senior operational management
  • Supply valuable data inputs to corporate financial planners, annual budgeting setups, and operational cost-efficiency assessments
  • Draft comprehensive engineering reports, data-driven update presentations, and structural efficiency reviews for executive oversight panels
  • Verify absolute workplace adherence to safety expectations, regional environmental parameters, and corporate risk policies

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aquaculture Infrastructure, or related discipline)
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on operational experience working with Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS)
  • At least 5 years of experience in an active managerial, supervisor, or clear leadership framework
  • Advanced technical communication skills, sound financial orientation, tactical asset planning insight, and solid performance resilience
