Position Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical or Civil Engineering student to join our Customer Care team as a Technical Sales Support Co-op. This role is ideal for junior or senior-level students seeking hands-on industry experience in engineering applications, customer support, and technical sales—with the potential for full-time employment upon graduation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sizing, selecting, and configuring traction elevator machines and systems
  • Support the creation of technical sales proposals and documentation
  • Participate in customer communications under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Learn and utilize tools such as ERP systems, CAD, and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, AutoCAD)
  • Collaborate with the Operations, Warranty, and Field Sales teams
  • Help troubleshoot product or application concerns alongside technical staff
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and internal records
  • Shadow engineers during customer consultations and quote development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (Junior or Seniorlevel preferred)
  • Interest in technical sales, customer support, or product applications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and components
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; exposure to CAD or CRM tools a plus
  • Commitment to a 12month internship assignment
