Engineering Consultant I

Cimetrics is seeking highly motivated individual for a dynamic customer-facing consulting engineer position.

Do you have experience in HVAC design, HVAC engineering, building commissioning and/or building controls/BAS? Do you have outstanding verbal and written communication skills? You’ll utilize Cimetrics’ Analytika suite of software tools to deliver value directly to our Fortune 500, commercial and institutional client base. Analytika is the industry-leading building analytics solution from Cimetrics, an innovator in building intelligence hardware, software and service for over 30 years.

You will use Analytika to work interactively with our clients to help them:

Position: Associate Engineering Consultant II

Description:

  • Establish and build a relationship with each client
  • Deliver high-value and time-sensitive Analytika findings to clients using our well-established, engaging and consultative approach
  • Use Cimetrics’ Analytika web-based platform and tools to perform comprehensive analytics of building data (HVAC and control system data) to identify high-value findings
  • Identify mechanical faults, carbon reduction opportunities, optimization opportunities, energy saving opportunities, and many other high-value results
  • Perform in-depth, root-cause analysis
  • Perform energy savings calculations
  • Manage multiple commercial and institutional accounts
  • Support Account Managers to grow business within existing client base

Firm Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • 3-5 years direct client contact consulting experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with HVAC and/or controls systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in physical science or engineering, or equivalent

Pluses:

  • Energy engineering experience
  • Building controls industry experience
  • Familiarity with HVAC equipment operation and sequences of operation
  • HVAC commissioning experience
  • Commissioning experience
  • HVAC design experience
  • PE registration or CEM certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
