Media One Hotel is looking for an organized and proactive Engineering/Operations Coordinator to support the Engineering team in daily operations, maintenance coordination, administration, and reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Chief Engineer / Engineering Manager with administrative and operational coordination.
- Raise purchase requests and follow up on spare parts, maintenance requirements, and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with Operations, Housekeeping, and Front Office teams to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Attend engineering daily briefings and prepare updates, minutes, and job allocation details.
- Prepare engineering duty rosters, monitor attendance, overtime, and public holiday schedules based on operational requirements.
- Monitor and update daily maintenance work orders through GMM systems.
- Ensure important spare parts and emergency consumable items are always available.
- Maintain all engineering files, contracts, service reports, certificates, drawings, and preventive maintenance documentation accurately.
- Track annual maintenance contract renewals and coordinate timely servicing and follow-ups.
- Ensure all Civil Defense and Dubai Municipality maintenance requirements are completed as scheduled.
- Monitor fire alarm panels, RMS, BMS, and HVAC systems to ensure operational efficiency and energy saving.
- Reset equipment connected to BMS systems after fire alarms to restore normal operations.
- Prepare monthly energy consumption reports and submit billing documentation to Finance.
- Coordinate AC maintenance contracts and handyman services for office tower tenants.
- Maintain strong relationships with office tenants and ensure handyman service invoices are submitted to Finance.
- Prepare documentation required for office fit-outs, including drawings and DEWA NOCs.
- Organize weekly and monthly departmental meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- Provide administrative, safety, and guest service support to the Engineering team.
- Submit monthly engineering training calendars and reports within deadlines.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Engineering Coordination or Administration, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations and maintenance coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Positive attitude with a strong team spirit and attention to detail
