Compensation DOE: Up to $110K


Seeking an Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead plant engineering, maintenance operations, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This is a direct hire opportunity for a hands-on leader who excels at driving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, improving maintenance processes, and leading technical teams in a 24/7 production setting.


What You'll Do as an Engineering & Maintenance Manager:

As the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, you'll oversee all maintenance and engineering functions for the facility, ensuring production equipment, utilities, and plant assets operate safely and efficiently. This position will partner closely with operations leadership to improve uptime, manage capital projects, support compliance initiatives, and develop maintenance strategies that drive operational excellence.


Engineering & Maintenance Manager Duties Include:

• Leading all plant maintenance and engineering activities to maximize equipment reliability and production efficiency

• Managing and developing maintenance personnel while ensuring safe and effective work practices

• Driving preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime

• Utilizing data, root cause analysis, and systematic problem-solving techniques to improve equipment performance

• Planning, coordinating, and implementing capital improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements

• Recommending capital investments to support production goals and long-term operational success

• Managing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and maintenance resources

• Coordinating equipment installations, modifications, repairs, and contractor activities

• Maintaining engineering drawings, technical documentation, and maintenance records

• Supporting environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance programs

• Leading continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, productivity, organization, housekeeping, and safety

• Ensuring compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local environmental regulations and reporting requirements


What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required

• 5+ years of plant engineering and maintenance leadership experience required

• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance systems within a manufacturing environment

• Experience leading maintenance teams in a continuous production operation

• Proven success implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs

• Experience managing capital projects from planning through implementation

• Knowledge of occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause problem-solving skills

• Excellent leadership, communication, and team development abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required

• CAD experience preferred

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
