Engineering Manager -Hands on product development

An industry leader is seeking an active Engineering Manager to lead their new product development team. We are looking for a hands-on leader for a cross functional team that will design or redesign their motion control product. JOB Duties of the Engineering Manager:

• Lead a cross-functional product development team from the R & D stage until production.
• Provide machine design guidance down to the system level, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Balance quality, cost, and schedule to deliver products efficiently.
• Apply your electrical and/or mechanical expertise to design innovative motion control and automation solutions.
• Key Requirements of the Engineering Manager:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Strong history of designing mechanically based automation products for manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in robotic or automation systems or motion control products
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
• System level product design and architecture
• Solid technical decision-making abilities.
