Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering operations within a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving engineering excellence, leading cross-functional teams, optimizing special manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards, and supporting strategic business growth.


Key Responsibilities

βœ” Lead and mentor a team of Manufacturing, Process, and Quality Engineers.

βœ” Drive process improvements across Thermal Spray, Chemical Processing (Plating, Anodizing,

Passivation), and Advanced Coatings.

βœ” Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and Nadcap standards.

βœ” Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and

productivity.

βœ” Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, and production readiness.

βœ” Partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Customers, and Suppliers to deliver

engineering excellence.

βœ” Lead CAPEX projects involving new equipment, automation, and process improvements.


Qualifications

βœ… Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

βœ… 10+ years of engineering experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing

environments.

βœ… 3+ years of engineering leadership or management experience.

βœ… Strong expertise in Thermal Spray, Chemical Processing, or Aerospace Coating technologies.

βœ… Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, and Nadcap audits.

⭐ Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
