Engineering Manager — .NET & Microsoft Stack

We're a Qatar-headquartered advisory and accountancy firm building .NET applications and integrations that extend leading ERP platforms — Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Xero — for SME finance teams across Qatar and the GCC.

We're hiring an Engineering Manager to lead our technology function end-to-end.

This is a hands-on technical role for engineers who lead. You'll own architecture, ship code, run the team, and drive delivery. If you've spent years on the Microsoft stack and want to lead an ambitious engineering function with real product roadmap ahead, this role is for you.

What you'll lead

✅ Client applications — bespoke .NET applications for SME finance operations

✅ ERP integrations — connecting Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Xero with client systems via APIs

✅ AI-powered features — automation and intelligence layered into our applications

✅ Cloud architecture — scalable, secure infrastructure on Microsoft Azure

You'll lead a team of .NET developers, a BI / front-end developer, and an AI engineer.

What you'll own

🔹 Technical direction — architecture, stack decisions, engineering standards

🔹 Translation of business needs — turning requirements into clear technical specs

🔹 Delivery management — sprint planning, scope, risk, on-time shipping

🔹 Cloud and platform deployment — production hosting, CI/CD, environment discipline

🔹 Code and design quality — review, mentorship, raising the bar

🔹 Team leadership — 1:1s, performance, career development, hiring

🔹 External technical representation — clients, Microsoft, partners

Required experience

🔸 Senior-level engineering experience (typically 5+ years ), with at least 3 years in a hands-on technical leadership role managing 3–8 engineers

🔸 Deep expertise in .NET 8 / .NET Core and broad fluency across the Microsoft ecosystem

🔸 Strong Microsoft Azure experience — production workloads, multi-environment design, CI/CD

🔸 Proven track record of designing and shipping API-based integrations with enterprise platforms

🔸 Strong architectural judgment and delivery discipline

Strongly preferred

Microsoft Power Platform — Power Apps, Power Automate, custom connectors

Azure DevOps — pipelines, repos, CI/CD discipline

Experience integrating with major ERP platforms (Dynamics 365, Xero, SAP, Oracle, or similar)

Experience with Azure cost management and governance

Bonus

➕ Microsoft certifications (AZ-305, AZ-204, PL-400, or equivalent)

➕ Azure OpenAI or Azure AI services in production

➕ AI/LLM integration in production applications

➕ Background in advisory, accountancy, ERP services, or SaaS environments
