Engineering Manager (R&D & Planning)

Sigma Refrigeration Limited, seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead Research & Development, Planning, and Product Design functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage Research & Development (R&D) activities for new and existing home appliance products.
• Develop new product designs, improvements, and cost-optimization strategies.
• Oversee production planning and coordination to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, procurement, and sales.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new product development and localization projects.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes, design, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Supervise prototype development, product testing, and validation.
• Monitor technical performance and resolve engineering-related issues.

Qualification & Experience:

• BS / BE in Mechanical.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in home appliances manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, product design, and R&D processes.
• Experience in assembly line management and technical troubleshooting.
• Good leadership, analytical, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software and ERP systems.
