Our key client one of the largest energy company of nuclear power generation in the UAE is seeking for an experienced Engineering Program Director to lead the development, maintenance, and oversight of engineering programs supporting a nuclear power facility.
The role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations, overseeing asset, component, and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) programs while integrating results across all plant units.
Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Program Leadership:
Direct development and maintenance of engineering programs to meet regulatory and operational requirements. Integrate industry best practices and oversee program execution, including supplier management.

Inter-Unit Integration & Operational Support:
Facilitate integration of engineering program results across units and support plant outages and emergency response as required.

Corporate Strategy & Planning:
Develop and execute the division’s business plan, optimize resources, monitor KPIs, and contribute to operational and strategic planning.

Health, Safety & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all health, safety, security, environmental, and business continuity policies. Promote a safe, secure, and risk-free working environment.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal leadership and external partners, including nuclear organizations, regulatory authorities, contractors, and auditors.

Excellence & Quality Management:
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and problem-solving. Ensure compliance with quality standards, operational procedures, and regulatory expectations.
Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related science (Master’s preferred).

10–12 years of relevant experience, including
4+ years
in a supervisory or management role in
nuclear power plant
engineering.

Familiarity with nuclear operations, refueling outages, startup testing, design control, configuration management, and safety system operability.
Technical Competencies:

Knowledge of nuclear safety design principles, project management, work program scheduling, and risk management.

Ability to read technical drawings and virtual plant models.

Knowledge of HSE, hazard identification, and control measures.
