MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Manage and provide leadership and guidance to the Project Engineering Management (PEM) team. ensuring continuous improvement in processes, resources, and tools.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Develop and maintain PEM procedure and execution plans.
-
Prepare and follow the PEM team budget, including the cost of subcontracted engineering services.

Prepare and maintain the relevant engineering department organization chart, ensuring adequate assigned resources.

Manage and control the interface between PEM and the project/department's internal and external stakeholders.

Develop a continuous improvement approach regarding the PEM process, tools, and human resources.

Ensure resources within the department are allocated in a well-defined and optimized way to achieve project cost and time targets.

Develop an integrated project-focused and process-oriented resource.

Ensure identification of training needs, appropriate training planning, and support execution of training.

Prepare, discuss, and approve performance evaluations for engineers in his/her engineering department.

Support harmonization and standardization of Engineering Management tools, processes, and procedures within the engineering department

Support overall engineering department management and participate in the department development and improvement plan

Participate and provide necessary input to build and enrich the company's lessons learned and knowledge database.

REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL QUALIFICATION
Basic Requirements:

Qualification: An Advanced degree (MSc/PE) in engineering (MBA/PMP) is recommended

Related Field Experience: +10 years of experience

Overall Experience: +10 years of experience

Strong knowledge of the engineering processes and their interfaces in EPC capital projects, particularly procurement processes and construction processes

Good knowledge of quality control processes

Good and wide practical experience in the power plant industry and/or other EPC businesses

Good knowledge in the gas turbine, steam turbine, and boiler fields
-
Strong and detailed knowledge in the process of Water/steam cycle, Balance of Plants (BOP), electrical, I&C, plant arrangement, piping and valves, civil and construction engineering
-
An advanced degree (MSc/PE) in engineering or business administration (MBA/PMP) is recommended
