About The Role
We are seeking a highly organized Engineering Project Manager Coordinator to manage and optimize engineering scheduling across projects, ensuring alignment with production and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Scheduling & Planning
-
Own the engineering schedule across programs, ensuring alignment with production and business priorities.

Establish and manage prioritization criteria for engineering work.

Drive schedule adjustments in response to shifting timelines, risks, or capacity constraints.
Resource & Capacity Management
-
Lead capacity planning efforts to balance workload with engineering availability.
-
Identify constraints and coordinate solutions with engineering and program leaders.
-
Use data-driven forecasting to anticipate resource needs and support planning decisions.
Cross-Functional Coordination
-
Act as the central point of coordination between Engineering, Program Management, and Production.

Ensure engineering deliverables are ready to support manufacturing and downstream processes.

Communicate risks, dependencies, and impacts to stakeholders with clarity and urgency.
Schedule Governance & Execution
-
Monitor execution of engineering plans, ensuring milestones and deliverables stay on track.

Identify risks early and lead cross-functional mitigation efforts.

Manage expedited or high-priority initiatives, ensuring alignment and visibility.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
-
Own KPI reporting for engineering scheduling (on-time delivery, backlog health, throughput).

Analyze performance trends and lead process improvements to increase predictability and efficiency.

Standardize scheduling practices across teams and workflows.
Scheduling Systems & Tools Leadership
-
Lead enhancements to scheduling tools, workflows, and dashboards.
-
Define requirements and validate improvements with software/IT partners.
-
Drive adoption and improve visibility through effective reporting and system usage.
Systems & Data Stewardship
-
Ensure accuracy and integrity of scheduling data in ERP and planning systems.
-
Establish and maintain governance standards for scheduling inputs and updates.
-
Leverage digital tools to improve planning accuracy and operational readiness.
Qualifications
-
BA & MA in Engineering or other technical degree or equivalent work experience
-
10 years of experience in scheduling/planning in engineering or manufacturing
-
Strong analytical and organizational skills
-
Excel and ERP familiarity
-
Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications

Capacity planning experience

Engineering workflow familiarity
-
Experience working with software teams
Physical Requirements
-
Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds at a time.

Prolonged periods standing on the manufacturing floor and sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
