Engineering Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Metal Fabrication - Milling/Bridgeport/Lathe.
  • CNC Operation and Maintenance (basic understanding OK).
  • Soldering and Crimping.
  • Assembling and wire routing.
  • Creating and establishing standards for future technicians and production workers.
  • Tool maintenance - Air compressor, Lathe, CNC, Vertical Mill.
  • System debug and architecture design.
  • Organization.


Qualifications

  • Expert in soldering skills.
  • Understanding of system architecture and electrical components for debug.
  • Metal fabrication experience (long hours on a vertical mill).
  • Extremely comfortable with tools and hands on work.
  • Understanding of assembly principles including order of operations and fastener torque control.
  • Organization skills in a shop environment.
  • Experience building complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Read and understanding engineering drawings including GD&T.
