Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support engineering projects by assisting with design, fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems. Your expertise will help ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with project scheduling, tracking progress and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures or process issues to identify underlying problems and implement solutions
• Create CNC programs using multiple CAM softwares for production parts
• Collect data through measurements, observations, and testing to support ongoing manufacturing improvements
• Analyze collected data to identify problems and create solutions
• Interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documents to assist with construction or repair projects

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in math with the ability to apply analytical skills to technical problems
• Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes, fabrication techniques, and construction standards
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software for creating files to be used in CAM software
• Familiarity with or the ability to learn various machine's HMIs
• Ability to perform data collection accurately and efficiently during testing or troubleshooting activities
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, soldering equipment, and fabrication techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to root cause analysis
• Ability to work well independently and in a team setting.
