Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety compliance.
- Conduct repairs using electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical knowledge to resolve issues promptly.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose problems accurately.
- Operate tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments to assess electrical systems’ health.
- Manage facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and residential painting to maintain a high standard of facility appearance and functionality.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.
- Supervise or assist with small teams during maintenance projects, demonstrating leadership and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within manufacturing or residential settings.
- Hands-on expertise with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Skilled in welding techniques, electrical repairs, and mechanical repairs with familiarity in reading schematics.
- Experience with CMMS software for work order management is preferred.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus for facility aesthetic projects.
- Supervising or leadership experience in maintenance teams is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
