English as a Second Language Assistant ~ ESL

Job Summary

• Assist students one on one or in a small group to promote learning English
• Monitors student performance
• Assists staff in working with individual students and in small groups to promote learning and skill development
• Administer the WIDA test every year (Training will be provided)
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• An Associate's Degree or higher
• Experience or training in working with students in educational setting
• Ability to employ listening skills, patience and empathy in dealing with students
• Ability to establish a good rapport with students and staff
• Established experience in computer, software and internet technology
