English as a Second Language Instructor (Spanish)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate English as a Second Language (ESL) (Spanish) Instructor to inspire and empower adult learners in their journey to achieve fluency and confidence in English. Duties

• Develop comprehensive curriculum tailored to adult language learners, incorporating instructional design principles and adult education best practices
• Deliver engaging lessons that incorporate classroom management techniques, interactive activities, and technology-enhanced learning tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Provide personalized tutoring and coaching to support individual student goals and address specific challenges in language acquisition
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, adjusting lesson plans accordingly
• Facilitate inclusive classroom environments accommodating students with special needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues on teacher coaching initiatives, sharing best practices for literacy education, bilingual instruction, and working with diverse student populations
• Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences, including the use of learning technology platforms and multimedia resources

Requirements

• Must speak Spanish (Required)
• Proven experience teaching English as a Second Language to adult learners in classroom or online settings
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional design, and adult language education methodologies
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students from diverse backgrounds
• Experience managing classrooms effectively while supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities such as deaf or visually impaired education
• Familiarity with LMS platforms, learning technology tools, and online tutoring techniques
• Demonstrated ability to develop lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, bilingual instruction, and culturally responsive teaching strategies
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, ESL/TESOL certification or equivalent preferred; bilingual skills are a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
