******WE ARE HIRING FOR OUR EVENING CLASSES ONLY AT THIS TIME. 5:30pm to 9:15pm TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS*******
Duties:
- Implement lesson plans to teach English as a second language to students with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with autism or other special needs.
- Utilize various teaching methods and materials to engage students and enhance their language skills.
- Collaborate with other teachers, and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Use behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and address challenging behaviors.
- Incorporate technology and multimedia resources into lessons to enhance learning.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
- Stay updated on current research, best practices, and trends in ESL education.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- Certification in ESL or TESOL preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.50 per hour
