Job Description: English Assistant Teacher (Male)

Position Title: English Assistant Teacher
Department: Academics
Reports To: English Subject Teacher / Section Head
Location: School Campus

Position Summary:

The English Assistant Teacher supports the main English teacher in delivering high-quality instruction to students. He assists in classroom activities, lesson preparation, learning reinforcement, and ensures an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering English lessons.
• Support students individually and in small groups to improve reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
• Help maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning atmosphere.
• Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, visuals, and resources as directed.
• Provide assistance during assessments, assignments, and evaluation processes.
• Supervise students during class, break times, and co-curricular activities.
• Assist with checking notebooks and maintaining academic records.
• Offer remedial support to students requiring additional help.
• Coordinate with the lead teacher to track and report student progress.
• Promote correct grammar usage, pronunciation, and communication skills.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to school policies, safety measures, and code of conduct.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in English Literature, Linguistics, or Education).
• Good command of the English language—spoken and written.
• Classroom management skills and a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Patience, responsibility, and enthusiasm to work with students.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with the teaching team.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
