Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and certified Phonics Teacher to join Vedantu as a part-time educator. The role focuses on teaching children aged 4 to 8 years, helping them build a strong foundation in reading, spelling, and pronunciation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct live, interactive phonics sessions for children aged 4–8 years.
• Teach foundational literacy skills including letter sounds, blending, decoding, and reading fluency.
• Use engaging and child-friendly teaching techniques to maintain student interest.
• Assess progress and share feedback with parents regularly.
• Create a fun, supportive, and motivating learning environment.

Requirements:

• Phonics certification (Preferred)
• Evening slots required from 4- 9 p.m.
• 1+ years of teaching experience in phonics/early literacy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Languages Known: English and Hindi/Telugu/Tamil
• Confident, enthusiastic, and child-friendly teaching style.
• Comfortable teaching in an online/remote environment.
