English SAT/ACT Test Prep Tutor (Part-Time)

We are Cram Crew, an in-home academic tutoring firm, that provides one-on-one support to middle and high school students. We're currently looking for tutors who can assist our growing number of SAT and ACT students in Austin and the surrounding areas.

As a tutor with Cram Crew, you will help students prepare for the Reading, Writing & Language, and Essay sections of the SAT and the English, Reading, and Essay sections of the ACT. As you progress with Cram Crew, you will also have the opportunity to work with students on other standardized tests or in their academic subjects.

This is a part-time position that provides limited hours upon onboarding, but allows you to build up your workload.

What you should offer:

• A passion for education
• A reliable car and a willingness to commute to students’ homes
• A minimum commitment of 10 tutoring hours a week
• A minimum of 60 college credit hours
• Strong communication skills
• Weeknight and weekend availability
• A professional and positive attitude

• Correctly answer content-specific questions
• Complete a comprehensive training
• Multitask and prioritize independent work
• Track and analyze student progress
• Communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service

Job Type: Part-time
