English & Social Science Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English & Social Science Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economics education and a commitment to nurturing students' critical thinking and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
• Deliver high-quality instructions.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through various methods, including tests, assignments, and projects.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and intellectual curiosity.
• Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and behavioral issues.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and teaching strategies.
• Contribute to school activities and committees as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate /Post Graduate in English/ Social Science from a recognized university.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Proven experience of min. of 5 years in a reputed CBSE School.
• Strong knowledge of social science subjects and current educational practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with diverse student populations and ability to address different learning styles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle classroom management effectively.
• Ability to integrate technology into teaching practices.
