Job Description

Edify College is seeking a dedicated GED Social Studies and Reasoning Through Language Arts (RTLA) Teacher who can also support the admissions department through student counseling and enrollment guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach GED Social Studies and RTLA (Reasoning Through Language Arts) according to GED standards.

Develop lesson plans, assignments, and exam preparation material.

Improve students’ reading comprehension, writing, and analytical skills.

Evaluate student performance and provide academic feedback.

Provide admission counseling to prospective students about GED programs.

Explain program structure, study plans, and university pathways after GED.

Assist in student enrollment and respond to admission inquiries.

Maintain academic and admission records.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Social Sciences, Political Science, or related field.

Strong command of English language and writing skills.

Experience teaching GED or similar programs is preferred.

Strong communication and counseling skills.
