English Social Studies Teacher

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons in line with the curriculum guidelines.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Evaluate and monitor students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate their progress to parents and guardians.
Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Manage student behaviour effectively, following school policies and procedures.
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best teaching practices and educational trends.
Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, strategies, and insights.
Identify and support students with special educational needs or learning difficulties.
Encourage and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
Attend and contribute to staff meetings, parent teacher conferences, and school events.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Education, Social Studies, History, Geography, or a related field.
Teaching certification or license in Social Studies.
Proven experience in teaching Social Studies at the relevant grade level.
Strong understanding of Social Studies curriculum standards and frameworks.
