Role Overview:

We are seeking a warm, creative educator to teach phonics and early reading skills to children for LKG - Grade 2 (aged 4–8). Using songs, puppets, read-alouds & multisensory

phonics, you will help young learners build strong foundations for confident reading.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct 30-minute One-to-One and 45-minute One-to-Few online sessions.

Deliver phonics-based lessons using songs, rhymes, interactive games, and expressive

read-alouds.

Use puppets, props, visuals, and role-play to make abstract concepts concrete and

engaging.

Incorporate multisensory activities (movement, tracing, drawing, clapping, sound games) to reinforce letter-sound knowledge.

Model correct letter formation, blending/segmenting, and fluent reading techniques.

Conduct informal assessments (sound checks, picture naming, running records) to

track literacy progress.

Maintain digital progress report, sharing developmental updates and home-practice

tips with parents.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, English, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Certification in early literacy/phonics.

Knowledge of phonemic awareness, multisensory phonics, & early comprehension

strategies.

Proficiency with online platforms, digital whiteboards, and reading apps.

Preferred Experience & Personal Attributes:

Training in Montessori or other structured literacy methods.

Experience designing play-based literacy activities & parent-engagement workshops.

Background in speech-language support or early reading intervention programs.

Warm, patient, and engaging with young learners.

Creativity in using storytelling, pretend play, art, and music to sustain attention.

Strong observation skills to notice emerging strengths and challenges.

Adaptability to meet different learning styles and developmental needs.

Collaborative spirit to align with curriculum teams and share best practices.

Pay: ₹250.00 per hour
