English Teacher

Job Description:

We are looking for a warm, creative, and dedicated English Teacher to teach students of Primary Section. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English, love working with children, and be skilled at making language learning joyful, activity-based, and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English language and literature (reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills) to primary school students.
• Plan and deliver interactive and engaging lessons suited to young learners.
• Encourage creative expression through storytelling, poems, plays, and classroom discussions.
• Use phonics-based learning, songs, rhymes, and visuals for early language development.
• Assess student progress through activities, worksheets, and oral assessments.
• Provide individual attention to students and support varied learning needs.
• Create a positive, cheerful classroom atmosphere that nurtures confidence and curiosity.
• Maintain lesson plans, records, and communication with parents.
• Participate in school events, assemblies, and literary programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Educational Qualification:
• B.A. in English / Literature / Language with B.Ed. (mandatory)
• M.A. (English) with B.Ed. preferred
• For lower classes, D.El.Ed. / TTC acceptable
• Experience:
• 1–3 years of experience teaching English at primary level preferred.
• Freshers with fluency and enthusiasm for teaching young children are also welcome.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and pronunciation.
• Creative lesson planning and storytelling ability.
• Patience, empathy, and love for children.
• Familiarity with activity-based and phonics teaching methods.
• Comfort with smart boards and digital classroom tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
