English Teacher

Position: English & Social Studies Teacher (Grades 3, 4, 5)
Location: Winmore Academy Whitefield
Reports To: Head of Department / Principal

Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated English & Social Studies teacher to teach students of Grades 3, 4, and 5 as per the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment, foster curiosity, and help students develop critical thinking, communication, and social awareness skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in English and Social Studies following the CBSE curriculum.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate teaching strategies, activities, and assessments.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and creativity.
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and other relevant information.
• Collaborate with colleagues to organize events, projects, and activities related to the subjects.
• Encourage moral, ethical, and social development alongside academic learning.
• Stay updated with educational best practices and continuously improve teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or relevant subject specialization.
• Proficiency in English and a good understanding of Social Studies concepts.
• Prior experience teaching CBSE students (Grades 3–5) is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
