English Teacher

Roles:

• This position demands a teacher who can deliver clear, structured English lessons, maintain strict classroom discipline, and push students to improve their grammar, writing, comprehension, and literature skills. The role is not for someone who struggles with fundamentals or lacks command over the subject.

Core Duties:

• Teach English Language and Literature according to the Class 9 & 10 curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, class notes, worksheets, and weekly tests.
• Evaluate student work and give precise academic feedback.
• Maintain discipline, ensure timely syllabus completion, and manage classroom behavior.
• Identify weak students and take corrective sessions when required.
• Coordinate with parents about academic issues—no sugarcoating.
• Maintain proper records of attendance, marks, and assignments.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and examinations.

Role Objective:

• Deliver consistently high-quality teaching so students show measurable improvement in grammar, writing skills, comprehension, and exam performance.

Responsibilities:

• Teach English to Class 9 & 10 as per the curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, notes, and assignments.
• Conduct tests and evaluate student performance.
• Maintain class discipline and ensure academic progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in English or relevant field.
• Strong grammar and writing skills — weak fundamentals are unacceptable.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to manage and engage Class 9–10 students effectively.
• Clear and confident communication.
