We are seeking outstanding, experienced High School English Teachers to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 academic year!

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To implement the English Department’s agreed instructional curriculum in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential,
  • To fully understand, embrace and implement SAC’s mission, high quality teaching and learning vision, goals, and motto as the drivers for the student learning objectives.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in English or a closely related field,
  • Valid national or state-issued teaching certification in English Language Arts (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA or DELTA are not accepted in place of teaching certification)
  • Near-native or native fluency in English,
  • Minimum four (4) years of relevant teaching experience, preferably at the high school level.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE

  • Strong knowledge of contemporary, research-based instructional methodologies,
  • Experience in student-centered classrooms, curriculum development, and differentiated instruction,
  • Ability to teach across the full English Language Arts spectrum, including: Reading and writing literacy, Literature and Academic writing,
  • Skilled in using technology to enhance instruction and assessment,
  • Experience teaching IBDP English and/or AP English,
  • Prior international or bilingual school experience,
  • Demonstrated commitment to International Education, Global Citizenship, and Service Learning.
