English Teacher

• Job Title: English Teacher – Nursery

Location: Nursery / Early Years Setting
Age Group: 2–5 years (EYFS)

Job Summary

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic English Teacher to support early language development in a nursery setting. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging English-language activities that promote speaking, listening, early reading, and writing skills in line with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate English lessons using play-based learning
• Develop children’s speaking, listening, phonics, and vocabulary skills
• Use stories, songs, rhymes, role play, and games to support language development
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
• Support children with English as an Additional Language (EAL)
• Work collaboratively with class teachers, assistants, and management
• Communicate effectively with parents about children’s progress
• Follow nursery policies, safeguarding, and health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Education / English / Early Childhood Education
• EYFS experience preferred
• Native or fluent English speaker
• Knowledge of phonics and early literacy development
• Patient, creative, and enthusiastic personality
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Desirable

• Teaching qualification (CACHE, Montessori, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Experience working in a nursery or kindergarten
• Knowledge of UAE early years regulations (if applicable)

Working Hours

• Full-time / Part-time (as per nursery requirement)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Contract, Fresher

Pay: Up to AED2,500.00 per month
