About the Role

International Delhi Public School, Vijayawada, is inviting applications for the position of TGT English Teacher.

We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and committed English educator who can deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should inspire students through effective teaching of language, literature, and communication skills while fostering creativity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Teach English (Literature, Grammar, Writing, Speaking and Listening Skills) to Grades 6 to 10 as per CBSE guidelines

Plan and deliver structured, interactive, and student-centered lessons

Conduct reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities

Prepare worksheets, assignments, and periodic assessments

Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback

Encourage creative writing, debates, storytelling, and presentations

Integrate smart boards, multimedia tools, and audio-visual aids in teaching

Participate in school events, literary clubs, and competitions

Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English or a related field

B.Ed. is mandatory

Proven teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school

Strong command of spoken and written English

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Passion for teaching, mentoring, and student development
