English Teacher

Overview

An international educational company operating American and British schools in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is looking for qualified English teachers who have experience teaching in UK/USA curriculum schools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that promote student learning and classroom communication.
• Assess and monitor student progress, maintain accurate student records, and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Develop and adapt syllabuses for Cambridge International Curriculum or American Curriculum, as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Ensure child protection policies are upheld and maintain a positive classroom climate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, TEFL/TESOL) and minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in UK/USA or International schools.
• Experience with Cambridge International Curriculum or American Curriculum preferred.
• Native English speaker or high proficiency in English; Arabic skills are a plus.
• Valid passport and willingness to relocate to Riyadh.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred

• Experience teaching in multicultural environments.
• Knowledge of child protection procedures in an educational setting.
